To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What youll be doing Reporting to the Director Project Delivery, the Business Project Manager is responsible for supporting high profile projects, work packages, and business analysis, in support of Personal and Business Banking strategic priorities. You will provide in-depth advice/consultation typically of a strategic, operational, or process-oriented nature to lines of business and stakeholder groups. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of small to medium size projects/programs across multiple lines of businesses assessing client needs and translating the needs into business requirements. In alignment with CIBC standards you will support the lines of business in creating target operating models and business architecture artifacts. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How youll succeed
  • Project Delivery - Support the end to end delivery of priority Investing and Advise and projects, processes, reporting, work packages, campaigns, etc. that support our strategy. Lead and manage the People Change Management components of the project. Perform business analysis, document current and future state processes and create business requirements. Incorporate Agile concepts and practices where ever applicable. Support in test execution (Business/User Acceptance Testing) and post implementation validation and monitoring. Ensure compliance with policies, standards, guidelines and controls. It is an asset if you have 2+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Relationship Management - Develop and manage internal relationships with CIBCs lines of business and other infrastructure groups, as necessary, to deliver strategically important projects within the approved budgets and timelines. Actively seek and evaluate opportunities to improve existing processes and work with key stakeholders to implement changes where appropriate. Work with partners within CIBC on a cross functional basis to influence strategic direction and enable the installation of effective Personal Banking strategies.
  • Subject Matter Leadership - Lead and mentor Business and Quality Assurance Analysts in support of project work packages deliverables. Performs a subject matter leadership role to Project Delivery on project related activities. Contributes to development of the intellectual capital as well as a general base of insight and superior knowledge of the team. Maintain" currency" in professional and specialized knowledge sufficient to provide value-added consulting to stakeholders on an ongoing basis
