Make an impact with our Marketing team as a National Marketing Assistant. This diverse team of professionals thinks outside the box to develop creative and innovative marketing programs. Responsibilities

• Support the National Marketing Managers in Toronto, with all areas of marketing including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website, and social media
• Assist, develop, and track the day-to-day administration of Clients and Services marketing campaigns, tactics, and assets
• Provide administrative support for the marketing calendar by scheduling meetings, keeping minutes, formatting marketing documents and presentations, and assisting in collating metrics among multiple channels
• Gather and compile market research for planning purposes
• Assist with the coordination of client prospect programs, including updating and maintaining databases, client lists, and preparing materials for distribution to clients
• Update financial tracking documents and other marketing documents including event invites, firm ads, and print corporate material; providing updates as required
• Consolidate monthly spending by submitting, organizing, and tracking invoices
• Engage and build relationships amongst national marketing, creative and regional marketing team members
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis for marketing tools and research for the Clients and Services team
• Coordinate photoshoots and offer support for special projects and ad-hoc activities/events on an as-needed basis

Skills and Experience

• Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing, communications, or other related field
• 1+ years of experience in a marketing capacity, and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process and project coordination
• Strong computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong administrative skills, including organization, attention to detail, and prioritization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be part of a highly collaborative team where the expectation is that everyone participates in the teams success, regardless of seniority
