Housekeeper

If you are passionate about providing housekeeping support to individuals in need, we invite you to join our team as a Casual Respite Housekeeper.

This would only be a couple hours a week for now with the ability to take on more when we get new intakes

This rewarding position offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of families with children with disabilities by assisting with housekeeping duties and helping to make their daily lives a bit easier.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of housekeeping duties to ensure the clients home remains clean, safe, and welcoming, creating a comfortable environment for both clients and their families
• Complete client-requested duties, which may include a range of cleaning and maintenance tasks tailored to the clients needs. This includes thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and all surfaces such as sinks, toilets, tubs, floors, counters, furniture, and fixtures to maintain hygiene and safety standards. Additionally, responsibilities may involve dusting surfaces, wiping down walls, cleaning appliances, and organizing spaces as required.
• Regularly vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstery to keep living spaces fresh, clean, and free of dust and debris, ensuring overall cleanliness and comfort
• Complete additional cleaning tasks based on client requests, such as organizing spaces, doing laundry, or undertaking special cleaning projects
• Follow individual client instructions and preferences to provide personalized service and ensure satisfaction
• cleaning tools and products are provided by the clients.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience required
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate towards families and clients
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly

Requirements:

• Police Check with Vulnerable Sector
• Valid drivers license and transportation (if required)

• Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
