Carpenter

Job OverviewFramework Construction is looking to hire a carpenter or carpenter apprentice. You will work in a team environment with a strong emphasis on commercial projects. We are looking for a candidate who will bring a unique skill set to our company. The appropriate candidate will possess the following:

- Ability to work in all weather conditions.

- Ability to work at heights.

- Ability to work in a team environment.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation.

- Proficient in painting, drywall, suspended ceilings, light electrical and plumbing.

- Demolition, framing, sheet metal and roofing experience.

- Experience with finishing work such as trim, casings, hanging doors and installing hardware, installing windows and glass, installing cabinets, tile installation and flooring installation.

- Proficient with the use of digital technology such as smartphones and tablets.

- Strong problem-solving skills.

- Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.

- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, forklifts, zoom booms and man-lifts.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

- Experience in the construction and repair of buildings and structures made of wood, concrete, steel, and other materials.

- Confirming completed units are level, square, plumb and the right size and shape.

- Positive attitude towards learning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00-$34.00 per hour
