OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties
- Manage and supervise all phases of construction activities on-site.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and maintain documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of construction tasks.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenses.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of work are achieved.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Superintendent role or similar position within the construction industry.
- Municipal Water And Sewer Experience Mandatory.
- Strong skills in construction estimating, budgeting, and quality control processes.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively.
- Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
