OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salon Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall customer experience while supporting our stylists in delivering exceptional services. Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly and ensuring their comfort during their visit.
- Assist stylists with various tasks, including preparing clients for services and providing necessary tools and products.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including sanitizing tools and workstations to uphold health and safety standards.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and handling retail sales transactions.
- Promote salon products and services through effective upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales.
- Support with hair styling tasks as needed, ensuring clients leave feeling satisfied with their look.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, with a knack for upselling products to enhance client experiences.
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques is beneficial but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
