Mechanical (Sub-Assembly) - Day Shift (Summer Student)

We are looking for Summer Students interested in a Mechanical (Sub-Assembly) - Day Shift role, who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry. Work Arrangement: Onsite

Work Location: 90 Belfield road, Etobicoke M9W 1G4

Shifts Available: Day shift is 40hrs/wk (Monday - Friday; 6:30am - 3pm) Duration: 4 Months (May 5th - August 29th 2025) As a Mechanical Assembler, you will

• Perform assembly of custom products according to established written work instructions and schematics
• Read and interpret assembly drawings
• Follow set instructions, job orders, and record information
• Perform quality checks using tools and gauges and complete checklists
• Adhere to Continuous Improvement manufacturing principles
• Work in a safe environment by keeping self and workstation free from hazards

Who are we looking for? Someone who

• Is currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution (diploma or degree program)
• Ideally has basic power tool experience; however, no prior experience is required
• Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
