Seasonal Home Maintenance Technician

Upkeeps 2025 Spring Recruitment is now open and were looking for positive and hard working Field Technician and Crew Leaders to join our Seasonal Home Maintenance teams.

The Field Technician is our entry-level position available for those with little-to-no industry experience but an eager, willingness to learn. We provide all the necessary tools and training for you to become technically proficient at performing our core services of window cleaning, gutter/eavestrough cleaning and exterior washing.

For those that demonstrate service excellence, possess leadership aspirations and a desire to take on additional responsibility, the Field Technician role presents an opportunity to grow into a Crew Leader position.

Crew Leaders are our entry-level management positions as they are additionally responsible for all aspects of job-site management and service delivery. They are responsible for driving the company truck, being the main point of contact with the client - ensuring excellent customer service throughout, and effectively communicating instructions to Field Technicians.

Crew Member compensation begins at $20.00/hour, with the potential for incremental raises as you get up to speed and become more proficient on the job. Tips from clients are not uncommon for doing an exceptional job and being pleasant to interact with, and are shared amongst the technicians on the job. Bonuses can also be earned for producing genuine 5-star reviews from our clients.

Due to the nature of work, you should be comfortable working on ladders, at heights of up to 2 storeys, and safely carrying and setting up ladders (up to 60 lbs). Work and safety training, and all required equipment, will be provided. Must be able to commute to Barrie, but daily transportation to and from job sites can be provided.

For consideration you must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a high school diploma. Crew Leaders must be able to provide a clean drivers abstract. An excellent customer service track record, cleaning and general labour experience, and a background in athletics are all considered assets.
