Pipelayer

Eng-Con Holdings Ltd is now accepting applications for Pipelayer. Formed in 1979 Eng-Con is a well established Water & Sewer contractor in the Edmonton area. We offer an excellent compensation/benefit package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install water and sewer pipe on grade ranging in sizes from 100mm to 1200mm (PVC & Concrete Pipe)
• Install Manholes/Catch Basins
• Supervise and train Pipelayer Helper
• Ensure quality of installed and backfilled water & sewer pipe
• Complete projects safely
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions that are labor intensive
• Participate and administer Eng-Cons safety policies
• Provide training to new employees
• Report all incidents, near misses and equipment damage to site supervision

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications:

• Must have 3+ years of water and sewer experience
• Must be 18 years of age
• Valid Class 5 drivers license
• Able to work 10-12 hours per day Monday to Saturday
