Terra Bona Landscape is a landscape construction and maintenance business based out of Owen Sound which operates across the Grey Bruce region. Our services focus on residential landscape design and construction but also include lawn maintenance and snow removal.

Job Description: Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

The Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for completing weekly lawn cutting & trimming at a mixture of residential and commercial properties. The Crew Leader will work primarily independently but may occasionally be required to manage another crew member. The Crew Leader will be involved in a mixed workload including lawn maintenance with some landscape construction. We welcome both part time and full time applicants. General operations include:

- Lawn maintenance- Line trimming & edging- Operating pickup truck & variety of trailers- Operation and maintenance of various equipment- Occasional garden maintenance activities including weeding, mulching & planting - Occasional assistance with landscape construction crew activities

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

The Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader must demonstrate a high level of responsibility, attention to detail and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Here are some of the most important qualities we are looking for:

- Positive attitude, attentive, respectful and driven- High level of respect towards clients and their properties- High level of respect towards equipment and healthy and safety- Attention to detail and quality- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to communicate well with team members and clients- Strong, physically fit and able to lift over 50 lbs repeatedly- Ability to work in varying weather conditions- Comfortable working around power tools, small engines and heavy equipment - Valid drivers license with clean record and experience towing trailers (required) - 3 years landscaping or maintenance experience (required)

Schedule:

- Monday through Friday 7am-530pm- Overtime pay provided- May through Early November- Opportunity for year-round work with snow removal - Opportunity for benefits after probationary period

Ideal Candidate:

All levels of experience are welcome, but preference will be given to those with at least 3 years in the industry or other relevant areas. Valid drivers license, clean record, and experience driving with trucks and trailers is a requirement. Come join a great team who love the outdoors!

Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalContract length: 8 months

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
