Heres What youll deliver:

• Responsible for all accounting functions including financial statements and all statutory reporting
• Ability to produce and analyze month end and year end financial statements in a timely manner
• Payroll, including preparation of commissions and bonuses.
• Preparation of yearly T4s
• Responsible for various Human Resources functions including but not limited to onboarding new employees, administering company group benefits
• Ensure all tax requirements are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis
• Management of dealership accounting staff
• Work closely with all senior members of management as required
• Completing analysis or other requests made by the Dealer Principal or General Manager
• Oversee or perform tasks to ensure the financial functions are completed and reconciled monthly including (but not limited to): cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts payables, manufacturer statements, inventory, payroll administration, intercompany accounts.
• Year end reporting for corporate tax filing

What youll need to succeed:

• A minimum of 5 years automotive dealership accounting experience is preferred
• Have strong verbal, written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills
• You are a self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required
• Good working knowledge of dealership accounting systems,
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required
