Terra Bona Landscape is a landscape construction and maintenance business based out of Owen Sound which operates across the Grey Bruce region. Our services focus on residential landscape design and construction but also include lawn maintenance and snow removal.

Job Description: Landscape Crew Leader

The Landscape Crew Leader manages a 2-3 person crew on a variety of residential landscaping projects. The Crew Leader utilizes their construction experience to safely and efficiently create top quality landscape projects as described below:

- Interlocking stone installation- Natural stone installation- Carpentry including decks, fences and railings- Installation of new gardens including tree planting - Installation of site drainage- Operation and maintenance of heavy equipment

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

The Landscape Crew Leader must demonstrate construction skills and experience and to be able to lead and communicate well with all crew members. The Crew Leader plays a vital role operating equipment, organizing the job site and completing quality projects on time and on budget. Here are some of the most important qualities:

- Positive attitude, attentive, respectful and driven- Attention to detail and quality- Capable of leading site operations with a focus on efficiency- Capable of practical problem solving and critical thinking in varying circumstances- Ability to read and interpret layouts and drawings- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Ability to communicate well with team members and clients- Strong, physically fit and able to lift over 50 lbs repeatedly- Ability to work in varying weather conditions- Capable of extended work hours- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steer, mini-excavator (required) - Valid drivers license with clean record and experience towing trailers (required)- 3 years minimum of landscaping experience (required)

Schedule:

- Monday through Friday 7am-530pm- Overtime pay provided- April through Mid November- Opportunity for year-round work with snow removal - Opportunity for benefits after probationary period

Ideal Candidate:

Were looking for candidates with 3 years of experience in the landscape industry, with experience operating equipment a necessity. Valid drivers license and experience driving with trucks and trailers is a requirement. Come join a great team who love the outdoors!

Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalContract length: 8 months

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Owen Sound, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• landscaping: 3 years (preferred)
