Were looking for a Business Analyst with a solid understanding of data and systems, combined with a hands-on technical mindset, to support a major client project. In this role, youll dive deep into complex data ecosystems, help shape the clients data strategy and drive tangible outcomes. Youll work closely with source systems and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions and contributing to the design and delivery of end-to-end data initiatives. This position is perfect for someone who excels at connecting the dots between business and technology in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Your responsibilities will include :

• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business/data requirements.
• Deeply understand source systems and data structures to translate business needs into robust data solutions.
• Participate in the design and mapping of data flows between systems, identifying key data elements and their transformations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and developers to ensure proper implementation and testing of solutions.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data exploration, validation, and testing purposes.
• Proactively challenge business assumptions and propose alternative data-driven solutions
• Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and actionable format to both business and technical audiences.

Our Ideal Candidate :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in data or IT environments.
• Strong ability to navigate and analyze complex systems and business domains.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to connect business needs to data solutions
• Experience working with SQL and at least one modern data/cloud platform (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Experience or familiarity with Data Vault modeling is a strong asset.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
• Bilingual: Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written).
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, and comfortable in fast-paced environments.
