Vaughan Community Health Centre is seeking volunteers to join our Board of Directors.

Vaughan Community Health Centre is seeking volunteers who:

• Live or work in Western or Northern York Region
• Reflect the vibrant diversity of the communities we serve
• Share the Centres mission, vision and values
• Bring knowledge of community health care and/or clinical skills, government and government relations
• Have board and governance experience in a not-for-profit organization
• Can contribute to regular board and committee meetings and special events
• Can commit to the board for a 3-year term

Vaughan Community Health Centre is: A not-for-profit, community-governed organization providing primary health care, social services, and illness prevention programs primarily to the residents of the Western and Northern York Region. We serve people experiencing barriers to accessing health care services due to culture, language, age, chronic illness, or the like. We are committed to providing services with and for local Indigenous, Black, racialized, newcomer and other disadvantaged communities.

The Western York Region may include Vaughan, Richmond Hill and King City. The Northern York Region may include Keswick, Newmarket, Sutton, Aurora and surrounding areas.
