Warehouse Associate
Description Responsible for safe operation of manufacturing equipment but will also assist with the handling and processing of warehouse work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders; transporting inventory; and maintaining stock in warehouse. Key Responsibilities
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
- Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Operates a powered industrial forklift to transport inventory, unload and load trucks.
- Operates manufacturing machinery and follows safety procedures to eliminate injuries.
- Pulls and stages orders for shipment or production use.
- Fills and transacts work orders, purchase orders, or sales orders.
- Performs cycle counts.
- Performs quality checks on stock items to report defects or damage.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
