- Lead discovery and analysis efforts with Sales, Marketing, and Service teams to fully understand existing CRM-related processes and identify improvement areas. Your insights will inform how Salesforce is configured and rolled out.
- Convert user inputs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements and solution designs, specifying how Salesforce features—such as flows, automation, custom objects, and validations—should operate to meet business goals.
- Map out workflows and CRM journeys in formats that are clear and actionable for both technical teams and end-users. Utilize tools such as Lucidchart or Visio to visualize key interactions like lead routing, opportunity stages, and customer onboarding.
- Act as the internal lead working closely with Salesforce implementation partners or consultants. Track deliverables, monitor vendor timelines, and ensure partner output is aligned with business expectations.
- Work alongside project teams to prepare for and execute data migration efforts, validating field mapping, and performing spot checks to confirm accuracy and completeness across key Salesforce records.
- Collaborate in developing test scenarios and executing functional and UAT cycles. Help diagnose issues during testing and verify resolution of defects to ensure a stable rollout.
- Develop instructional materials, organize practical training sessions, and serve as a knowledgeable resource during and after go-live. Monitor adoption trends and provide hands-on support as users begin working in the live environment.
- Post-deployment, gather feedback and usage metrics, and coordinate with business units to evaluate enhancement requests. Recommend improvements that align with evolving business needs and Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Contribute to conversations around integration design between Salesforce and other systems such as ERP, email platforms, or customer support tools. Ensure information flows are clean and traceable.
- Keep a comprehensive record of requirements, decisions, process designs, test plans, and configuration outcomes. Provide timely updates to stakeholders and project leads on progress, roadblocks, and technical dependencies.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis or related roles, with at least 3 years working directly on Salesforce CRM projects.
- Hands-on exposure to Salesforce system implementation or migration, ideally within Sales Cloud or similar environments.
- Prior involvement in data validation during CRM go-lives and collaboration with external service providers or consultants.
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a comparable field.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, App Builder, Business Analyst) are strongly preferred.
- Additional credentials in project coordination (e.g., CAPM, Agile fundamentals, PMP) are an asset.
- Experience configuring Salesforce (e.g., Flows, Page Layouts, Reports & Dashboards).
- Proficiency in Excel for data review and cleanup tasks.
- Familiarity with tools for mapping and documenting business processes (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).
- Understanding of integration principles and experience working alongside middleware or API integration teams.
- Proven ability to analyze business processes and align system solutions with operational goals.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; able to convey technical solutions to non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities in a project-based, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust across departments and external vendors.
