Professional Dog Groomer
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Professional Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to a variety of dogs and dog breeds, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. A successful candidate will have a love for dogs, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle dogs of all sizes.
Responsibilities
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, styling and nail clipping for dogs.
- Assess the condition of dogs coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Communicate effectively with dog owners about their dogs grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
- Provide excellent customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting as needed when managing larger dog breeds.
Experience
- Previous experience (minimum 1 year) in dog grooming and completion of a professional dog grooming certificate is a requirement.
- Strong customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities when handling larger dogs.
- A genuine love for dogs and commitment to their care is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
