Iriss client, one of the worlds largest multinational investment banking and financial services corporation is looking to hire an Production Support Analyst - Python Our direct client is a is a world-leading financial services company, provides consumers, corporations, governments and institutions with a broad range of financial services and products.

Title: Production Support Analyst - Python

Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid)

Duration: 24+ Months

Job Description:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT. Minimum 2 years of experience in financial industry, prior Capital Markets/Futures experience will be additional asset.
  • Prior experience in implementing and supporting large-scale production systems, end of day monitoring, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of ITRS Geneos, Job Scheduler (CTRL-M), Windows, Programming in Python, Experience of supporting MQ, SOLACE, Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Analyze existing systems and liaise with Business/Development team for system improvement.
  • Involvement in rotating weekend support, on call work as required for projects, Disaster Recovery tests, etc.
  • Fast paced trading environment. Deliver to tight timelines.
  • 24x7 on-call based on rotating shift assigned for end of day monitoring.
