Pesticide Applicator

Seeking a Certified Pesticide Applicator to complete a herbicide application on our jobsites throughout Alberta. Please note, this is an on-the-road position; must be willing to travel. Must have a valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.

This is a seasonal position and could be combined with one of our other postings for a equipment operator/landscape labourer.

This would be a remote/on-the-road position, which would provide accommodations/LOA as we mobilize to various industrial solar sites throughout Alberta.

Duties Include

-mixing, preparing and spraying pesticides

-daily maintenance of equipment maintenance

-other duties as required

-adherence to all safe work procedures, including appropriate use of PPE and herbicide application equipment.

-understanding and demonstration of all pesticide orders

-record keeping and report generation

-use of GPS application system

Requirements

- Pesticide Applicator Certificate (Industrial or Landscape)

-High School Diploma or equivalent

-Drivers License with clean drivers abstract

-Experience with herbicide application equipment (UTV with boom sprayer & GPS system)

-Legally authorized to work in Canada

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay
