What are we looking for?

  • Leadership Savvy: Proven track record in leading teams, inspiring rather than just managing. This might include hopping in the field and helping the team finish a busy week.
  • Operational Mastery: The Ops Manager mandate includes optimizing cost-effective operations, refining management systems, and championing best practices.
  • Green Passion: Ideally, a background in Integrated Pest Management; at a minimum, a genuine love for plant health and tree care. Or a willingness to let us teach you!
  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable handling mechanics, operating reels, pumps, and a toolbox of tools. You need to be able to help the team troubleshoot their problems.
  • Procedural Excellence: A knack for crafting and optimizing procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Safety and Environment Commitment: A serious commitment to safety protocols. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring legal compliance, promoting the health of our clients properties, the environment and the people around us.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to acquire IPM Certification for Landscape and Structural. Easy to learn and can acquire a 5 year certificate by receiving a high mark.
  • Exceptional customer-centric approach, consistently going above and beyond to meet customer and staff needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with both staff and customers.
  • Willingness to learn how to identify plants and pests, with a continuous desire to learn and expand knowledge.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize various equipment, including electric hose reels, pumps, and sprayers. Drivers License is a must.
  • Physical capability for sustained activity, including carrying 25 lbs on your back and pulling the equivalent with your hands (hose reels).

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
