Music Tutor

Responsibilities:- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for students- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow- Teach various Genres of Violin music.- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials based on the needs and interests of the students- Assess students progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom

Skills:- Experience working with students in a creative environment.- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Creativity and flexibility in lesson planning and delivery- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students- Familiarity with early childhood education techniques and strategies.

Requirements

• Have a Teaching Studio in NE Calgary or have the Ability to Commute to Students homes in the NE

Music theory knowledge

• More than two (2) years music Teaching experience.
• Ability to teach the piano (at least basic and intermediate learners).
• Vulnerable Sector Background Check

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
