Marketing Research Analyst (quantitative Profile)

As a quantitative analyst, you will work on varied and captivating marketing research projects for major clients, and be involved in every step of the process.

This is a one-year contract, with the possibility of a permanent appointment afterward.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE

  • Plan and coordinate projects with various internal teams.
  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis (scoping and managing projects).
  • Design tools to gather quantitative data that meet clients needs (e.g., questionnaire).
  • Develop data processing and visualization plans.
  • Perform specific statistical analyses (using SPSS and Excel) and establish weighting rules.
  • Analyze results, identify anomalies and/or trends.
  • Create automated reports and/or write research reports including strategic recommendations.
  • Analyze data collected and write research reports including strategic recommendations
  • Present research reports to clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing OR related field (e.g. Sociology, Ethnology, Anthropology, Psychology, Communications, Management, Political Science, etc.).
  • Bilingualism: Expert level in written and spoken French and English. Note: only persons corresponding to this criterion will be considered
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and responsibility for deliverables.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, manage time effectively, juggle several projects, perform several tasks at the same time and meet tight deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
