Estimate amounts and costs of suppliers and food items

Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory

Analyze operating costs

Demonstrate new cooking skills/techniques to staff

Supervise all levels of kitchen workers

Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation

Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events

Prepare and cook food on a regular basis

Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant environment
• Strong knowledge of food handling and safety protocols
• Effective team management and supervisory skills
• Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on high-quality food service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
