Job OverviewWe are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Your expertise in hair styling and customer service will play a vital role in enhancing the overall client experience, helping them look and feel their best.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Upsell hair care products and services to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales.
  • Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and greeting clients.
  • Ensure a positive customer service experience by effectively communicating with clients throughout their visit.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong skills in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and treatments.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience in retail sales or upselling products is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain sanitation standards in the salon environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week

Schedule:

  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Hair styling: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Journeyman license (required)
