Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This position requires a commitment to hospitality, teamwork, and maintaining a positive dining experience for all patrons.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist in setting up dining areas, including arranging tables and chairs as needed.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about menu items, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for cash handling transactions.
  • Familiarity with sanitation standards and food handling regulations is a plus.
  • A team-oriented mindset with a passion for providing outstanding guest services.
