Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.
  • Ensure that all freight is secured properly for safe transportation.

Experience

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License).
  • Familiarity with automotive repair principles is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in various conditions.

Pay: From $26.70 per hour
