Position # : 195107 Expected Start Date: June 22, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Rosetown Health Centre City/Town: Rosetown Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.75 Shift Information: Days, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Hours of Work: 168.00 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician $29.909 to $36.572 Travel Required: No Job Description: The EMT will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT will cover standby assignment, as operations require. Human Resources Exemption: No Education

  • Primary Care Paramedic diploma (PCP)

Licenses

  • Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards)
  • Valid Class 4 drivers license

Other Education and Training

  • International Trauma Life Support Certificate (ITLS)
  • Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)

Knowledge and Abilities

Other Information

  • Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
  • Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT level
