Role Overview:We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable tutors to join our team. As a tutor at BookSmart, you will have the opportunity to work with students at both the elementary and high school levels, guiding them in subjects like English, Math, and Science. This is an in-person role where you will be expected to travel to the students location for each session.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured and engaging tutoring sessions that align with both BookSmarts standards and the individual academic goals of each student.
  • Provide clear, constructive, and frequent feedback to students to support their academic progress.
  • Participate in regular tutor training sessions to stay updated on best practices and enhance your tutoring skills.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in the subjects you will be tutoring (English, Math, Science).
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Commitment to maintaining a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Job Type: Part-time
