Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units and systems according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of air conditioning systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems related to cooling units.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and staff to complete projects efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role in HVAC.
  • Air conditioning Licences 313D /313A
  • G2/G1 natural gas license
  • Familiarity with appliance repair techniques related to air conditioning systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
  • Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC preferred but not required.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of air conditioning technology.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
