Dental Receptionist

Modern South Windsor office is looking for a Dental Receptionist to join our team. We have a supportive, and positive team, and great patients. We are committed to providing high quality care to our patients with the latest technology and comfort.

Your Responsibilities include:

  • Welcome patients and answer inquiries in person, on the phone, via email and text
  • Manage the daily schedule, incl. scheduling and confirming appointments, confirming and optimizing the schedule
  • Process insurance claims, send pre-determinations, and get insurance breakdowns
  • Collect payments at time of treatment
  • Encourage patient acceptance of dental treatments by answering questions and creating value for the proposed treatment plan. Follow-up with patients with pending treatment
  • Other administrative duties

Your Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Dental receptionist
  • Knowledge of dental practice processes and workflows (scheduling, financial, and treatment coordination)
  • Knowledge of dental procedures, including Restorative, Cosmetic, Implants, and Invisalign
  • Comfortable with technology and dental practice management software ( Abeldent Software is an asset)
  • Outstanding communications skills (verbal and written) with a warm and positive attitude
  • Must be passionate about building strong patient relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Great problem-solving skills and comfortable taking initiative
  • Ability to learn from constructive feedback to ensure continued growth
