Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for serving male clients with addictions and concurrent disorders at our live-in treatment centre in Kingston, Ontario:
- Group Facilitation
- Teaching Classes
- One-on-one Counselling
- Development of treatment plans based on client-centred recovery goals
- Assessment and Intake as needed
- Networking with local agencies
- Crisis/Conflict Intervention
- Record-keeping and note taking
- Discharge Planning
- After-care Follow-up
- Team Consultation and Decision-Making
- Case Management skills
- On-call responsibilities
- Maintain a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle while on Salvation Army property and while working
