Main duties

  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods or special meals
  • Schedule and supervise activities of line cook, prep cook, and other kitchen staff as well as train kitchen staff
  • Oversee kitchen operations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work area
  • May plan new menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
  • May set up and oversee buffets

Employment requirements

  • Have several years of commercial cooking experience (Thai, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Asian cuisine, and/or Deep Frying)
  • Have a food safety certification recognized in NB, before the start date of employment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
