Class 1 Truck Driver

Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team for CANADA-USA runs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Duties

• Operate trucks and other vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and heavy equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid commercial drivers license (CDL).
• Familiarity with freight handling and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$35.48 per hour
