Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Video Editor & Graphic Designer to support GGPoker’s organic social media channels and YouTube.
This role is 100% focused on organic content and is responsible for producing platform-native short-form and long-form video content. You will edit and design content drawn from GGPoker’s ecosystem, live events, ambassador content, and editorial formats.
This is a video-first role with strong graphic design capability. Knowledge of AI is required for select projects involving video creation and image generation, but day-to-day editing and design will be completed using the candidate’s preferred professional toolset.
Candidates must have prior experience editing organic social content for multiple platforms in a brand or agency role and understand how to tailor edits by platform. Primary channels include Instagram, YouTube (Shorts and long-form), Facebook, X, and Reddit.
Basic poker knowledge is required to correctly pace and edit hands and in-client moments for social content.
Content Types You’ll Work On
Short-form social videos across multiple recurring formats
YouTube Shorts and long-form YouTube content
GGPoker ecosystem content (in-client “Big Wins” moments such as jackpots, Mystery Bounties, Spin & Gold multipliers, and other standout hands)
GGTeam and ambassador content
Qualifier and player-story content from live events (e.g. WSOP)
Editorial formats such as Top 5 videos and highlight compilations
Social graphics and thumbnails supporting video content
Duties and Responsibilities
Edit short-form organic videos for social platforms and YouTube Shorts.
Edit long-form YouTube content when required.
Create platform-appropriate versions for social distribution, including formatting, pacing, and correct placement of captions and on-screen text for each platform.
Turn poker client footage, livestream segments, and live event assets into polished social edits.
Design and produce all organic social graphics and thumbnails.
Lead select AI-based video and image generation projects when required.
Work from briefs, timestamps, and formats with minimal back-and-forth.
Deliver content on schedule while maintaining GGPoker brand standards.
Minimal Output Expectations
Consistent weekly delivery of short-form social videos across platforms.
Regular contribution to YouTube Shorts and long-form YouTube content.
Ongoing delivery of social graphics and visual assets supporting organic content.
Reliable turnaround on time-sensitive content tied to live events or in-client moments.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for editors who:
Understand short-form storytelling and pacing (hook → build → payoff)
Know how to keep retention high and content enjoyable to watch
Can create cinematic short-form poker videos from basic gameplay action
Are creative and proactive without making content feel generic
Have a basic understanding of poker gameplay and how to pace poker content clearly for social
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a video editor in a brand or agency environment.
Required: Basic poker knowledge, including hand rankings, betting streets, and gameplay flow.
Proven experience editing organic social content across multiple platforms for a brand.
Required: Portfolio link with examples of organic social video editing work (Reels/Shorts) published for a brand.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator is a plus).
Required: Familiarity with AI tools used for video creation and image generation (e.g. Google Labs, ChatGPT, or similar tools).
Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
Strong attention to detail and pacing.
Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-moving creative environment.
