About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist with 10+ years of headhunting expertise to drive our recruitment strategy during a period of rapid global expansion. This role is critical to building the high‑performance teams that will propel us toward IPO.
You will lead full‑cycle recruitment across multiple departments, partner closely with senior leadership, and ensure we attract, engage, and hire top‑tier talent. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, exceptional relationship‑builder, and proactive problem‑solver who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
Responsibilities
- Talent Strategy — Partner with leadership to understand workforce plans, define role requirements, and build effective hiring strategies. Proactively source, attract, and recruit top talent through headhunting, networking, and direct outreach.
- Full‑Cycle Recruitment — Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation for mid‑senior level roles.
- Stakeholder Management — Build strong relationships with hiring managers, providing guidance on market trends, job design, and selection best practices. Develop and maintain a strong network of industry professionals to support ongoing hiring needs.
- Sourcing Excellence — Develop innovative sourcing approaches using LinkedIn, talent communities, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Candidate Experience — Ensure a seamless, professional, and engaging recruitment journey from first contact to onboarding.
- Process Optimization — Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve time‑to‑hire, and enhance recruitment quality.
- Data & Reporting — Track key hiring metrics, analyze trends, and provide insights to leadership.
- Employer Branding — Support initiatives that strengthen our employer brand and promote our culture across digital platforms.
- Compliance — Ensure recruitment practices align with local employment laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in executive recruiting, headhunting, or talent acquisition.
- Proven ability to manage senior‑level stakeholders and influence hiring decisions.
- Expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Extensive professional network within relevant industries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment and consistently deliver high‑quality candidates.
Pay range and compensation package
- Location: Onsite – 5 days per week (Mississauga)
- Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
- OTE: $500 for every role filled
- Commission: $1000 for closing 10 roles in every month
- Stock Options: Eligible to participate in the BoomerangFX Stock Option Plan after 6 months
