General Laborer – PM ShiftJob Description
We are currently seeking General Laborers for the PM Shift to support operations in a large manufacturing facility located in Northwest Calgary. This is a physically demanding role that involves working both inside the production plant and outdoors in the yard. Responsibilities include material handling, heavy lifting, equipment support, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
This position offers significant overtime opportunities, cross-training across multiple departments, and a clear pathway to a long-term unionized career within a stable and growing manufacturing operation.
This position is based in a large manufacturing facility in Northwest Calgary. Employees work in both indoor production areas and an outdoor yard environment. The facility is industrial and fast-paced, with active production lines, heavy materials, machinery, power tools, and material handling equipment.
Shift Schedule:
The production team consists of approximately 60 employees, including general laborers, production operators, tradespeople, and forklift operators. The organization promotes long-term employment, teamwork, and ongoing skills development in a unionized environment.
