Retrofitting Instructor

Location: Western Canada (Travel Required)

About the Role:Were excited to announce the upcoming launch of our Retrofitting Program, full-time classes starting at the end of June. Were looking for a dynamic and experienced Retrofitting Instructor to lead this initiative and deliver hands-on, engaging training sessions across Western Canada.

This is a full-time position ideal for someone passionate about energy efficiency, sustainable building practices, and workforce development. Youll be teaching on-site across various locations, so comfort with travel and flexible scheduling is key.

What Youll Do:

• Deliver in-person instruction on retrofitting techniques and safety practices
• Facilitate workshops and hands-on demonstrations
• Support students through mentorship, coaching, and performance assessments
• Collaborate with our curriculum team to continuously improve course content
• Ensure compliance with local safety and industry standards

Who You Are:

• Certified tradesperson (Electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, or related field)
• Minimum 3 years of retrofitting or energy efficiency experience
• Strong presentation, communication, and classroom management skills
• Comfortable with travel across Western Canada
• Teaching or mentoring experience is a strong asset
