Job DescriptionOur client is looking for a Project Quality Assurance Coordinator for a one (1) day/week contract for a long-term contract. The work will be in Montreal and on site near Beloeil, Qc.
The Project Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the quality of their assigned project, for the work carried out by contractors, the designer and the various contractors and suppliers engaged for the construction of the various lots. He/She will ensure that the project is carried out according to the clients requirements and standards. This includes, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Ensure the mastery of the clients QMS, including the monitoring of the application of the Quality Plan, its audits and the main ITP from the beginning of the mobilization of the Personnel assigned to the Site and for all stages of the Contract (design, manufacturing/development in factory and Work carried out in site);
- Review and validate the contractors quality plans for compliance with project requirements.
- Participate actively in Project meetings as representative for the Quality function;
- Verify the application of contractors and suppliers quality plans through auditing, monitoring, participation in certain identified hold points and non-conformance (NC) where applicable;
- Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Director the planning, preparation, coordination, and execution of audits;
- Coordinate the activities of the Client Representative Laboratory Testing on his/her assigned project.
- Ensure quality-related communication to all project stakeholders;
- Ensure the identification, recording and control of Non-Conformities and CARs In accordance with contractual requirements;
- Ensure the implementation of preventive and corrective measures to prevent the recurrence of identified non-conformities. In the case of NC from designers, subcontractors or suppliers, review the cause analyses and corrective actions implemented to eliminate the possibility of NC recurrence.
- Follow up on the Issue and closure of Non-Conformities (NC);
- Ensure availability of documents required for acceptance of the Work;
- Monitor CIPs (Internal or from STs and suppliers) and ensure that appropriate records and reports are created.
- Post-secondary diploma with a diploma, or any other relevant training.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Has extensive knowledge of codes, standards, regulatory requirements
- Strong communication skills (bilingual - French and English), confident in interacting with key contacts in verbal, written and electronic form.
- Able to identify and solve problems independently
- Methodical, diligent and punctual
- Autonomous, resourceful and responsible
- Strong attention to detail
