Hiring Unit: Department of Biochemistry Position Summary: This is a 6-month contract. Potential start date - March 24, 2025. 16-28 hours per week | part-time. To assist the Graduate Program Director in student affairs activities:
  • Maintain Excel databases with students timeline.
  • Verify students progress information and update database (RAC, LOU, Seminars, etc.)
  • Compile student information in systems.
  • Complete/follow-up on forms and filing.
  • Verify students registrations and follow-up with them.
  • Create reports and performs analysis.
  • Assist with administrative matters and departmental events.
  • Acts as a liaison between the unit and internal or external parties to provide various assistance or information.
  • Acts as a resource person to resolve various issues that may arise during planning, scheduling and events.
Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma with two years of relevant experience in the field of work.
  • Minimal university bachelors degree is preferred.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
