Labourer

His n Hers Sprinklers has provided landscaping services in Saskatoon for 14 years. We provide residential landscaping,

which includes grading and grade correction, topsoil, sprinklers, irrigation design, sod, planting trees, shrubs and fencing.

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location Various locations in Saskatoon

40 hours per week with possible overtime (weekend work)

This position starts May 1st

Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required

Experience: 7 months or more

Candidates must meet the following criteria/requirements.

Valid class 5 drivers license (A drivers abstract may be requested).

Reliable transportation to and from work.

Practical English communication skills (both verbal and written).

Ability to distinguish between colors

Good work ethic

Availability for longer hours and weekends when needed. Client focus

Show initiative and judgment, be a team player. A sense of responsibility.

An excellent ability to collaborate.

Meet tight deadlines.

Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles regularly.

Work outdoors in various conditions, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, rain, dust, noise, and wet.

Ability to lift 80 lbs repeatedly.

The ability to efficiently operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, and skid steers is an asset.

Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in hot and cold weather.

Ability to follow safe working procedures.

Good observation skills and attention to detail.

Reading blueprints and drawings is an asset.

Job Description:

Planting trees and shrubs.

Installing sod,

Construction of fences.

This may include snow removal services.

This may include lawn and yard maintenance.

This job is Physically demanding:

standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.

Job Type: SeasonalContract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.80-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
