Integration Developer

Integrations engineer for 3rd party integration. (Ideally near shore or offshore with flex overlap hours) 6 months with likely extension

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Integration Developer to support the development and maintenance of integrations between our platform and various third-party systems. The role will focus heavily on API-based integrations and the orchestration of workflows using Tray.io. The ideal candidate is someone with direct experience in OAuth-based authentication, API data handling, and integration logic design, along with a broader understanding of related technologies.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience integrating with third-party APIs using OAuth (e.g., ADP, Google, Microsoft)
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining integration workflows in Tray.io
• Strong knowledge of data input/output handling in JSON and XML formats for third-party APIs
• Solid understanding of API authentication, rate limits, and error handling

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• PHP development experience
• Prior experience with Drupal (8+)
• Familiarity with SSO technologies such as SAML and OIDC
• Experience deploying integration solutions to AWS
• Understanding of web servers and proxies (e.g., IIS, Apache, Nginx)
• JavaScript proficiency
• Prior integration experience with ADP, especially through the ADP Marketplace

Additional Qualities:

• Ability to work independently and interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across distributed systems
• Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative environments
