Hairstylist

We are looking for a Hair Stylist that can work mainly on women. The stylist would assist with hair cuts, style and colour hair. The ideal candidate will have some experience styling womens hair, cutting hair, and coloring hair. It is bonus if you know how to do hair spa services and esthetics. Responsibilities:-Ensure clients have a great experience.Know the newest trends in hair styling.-Maintain an up-to-date understanding of hair color and color theory.-Have a solid understanding of all the phases of styling and cutting hair including, but not limited to, wash, style, blowout, curl, color, and cut.-Have knowledge of the latest in hair care products; knowledge of skincare, nail care, makeup and fashion trends is a bonus.-Have knowledge of healthy hair maintenance techniques.-Provide customer service to clients and assist with online bookings

-It is a bonus if you have esthetics, hair spa and head massage experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

• Canadian hair salon: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Hairstylist license (preferred)
