DELIVERY DRIVER

Overview

We are looking for a reliable delivery driver who can be trusted to responsibly deliver items in a safe and timely manner.The delivery driver will pick up and drop off gelato containers weighing up to 70 lbs each to retails around the area of Niagara and Hamilton/TO, among other drivers duties.The job is part time for now and could develop into a full time position. Working week days and sometimes weekends.When writing your resume, be sure to reference the job description and highlight your background and your skills, must be licensed, violation free with a driver abstract.Pay is $19.50 per Hour to start and with the possibility of growing in the company.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, handling packages of varying sizes and weights.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
  • Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
