Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring all food preparation areas are clean and organized.
• Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and presentation of dishes.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies, assisting with ordering as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in meal preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• A passion for the food industry and a desire to create exceptional dining experiences for guests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.11-$24.51 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
