Business Development Executive

AVS Hospitality is a growing property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service and maximizing the value of residential properties. We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Associate to expand our client base by pitching our property management services to developers and investors.

This is a commission-based role ideal for a self-motivated individual ready to take on the challenge of building a lead pipeline from scratch. Without pre-existing lead lists, you will need to proactively identify, research, and connect with potential clients, making this a highly rewarding opportunity for those with strong sales skills and determination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Independently research and identify potential clients, including property developers and real estate investors, through online research, networking, and industry events.
  • Cold Outreach & Follow-Ups: Initiate contact through cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn messages, effectively communicating the value of AVS Hospitalitys property management services.
  • Pitching & Presentations: Confidently deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to the needs of each prospect, highlighting our services and benefits.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with developers and investors to generate repeat business and referrals.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on local real estate trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Tracking & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, prospect feedback, and deal progress using basic tracking tools (no Salesforce required).

Qualifications

  • Sales-Driven Mindset: Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role with a focus on lead generation and closing deals.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: Ability to work independently, build a lead list from scratch, and stay motivated without pre-existing contacts.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively pitch and negotiate with potential clients.
  • Real Estate Knowledge (Preferred): Familiarity with the Toronto real estate market or property management industry is a plus.
  • Resilience & Persistence: Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection, with a tenacious attitude to keep pursuing new opportunities.
  • Required Tools: Must have access to a phone and a laptop to perform outreach and manage communications effectively.
