Automotive Service Back Parts Associate

Who You Are:

A mature and driven team player, with experience supporting Automotive Technicians in locating and providing the right parts for auto repairs. You thrive in fast-paced environments, and are familiar with the use of computerized auto parts and service systems.

What Youll Need:

• Knowledge of or experience with mechanical components of automobiles.
• Ability to work effectively with auto parts ordering systems and computerized work order systems.
• Basic math and keyboarding skills.
• Parts sourcing and quoting experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, delegate and follow-up on daily tasks.
• Ability to resolve problems and make decisions.
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks in a team setting, or individually.
• Strong belief in the Canadian Tire values of honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Valid drivers license for province of employment.
• Safety shoes or boots.

What Youll Do:

• Source and order automotive parts through authorized suppliers.
• Providing part pricing and quotes to the Service Advisor.
• Process returns, warranties and castings as required.
• Test and fill batteries, test starters.
• Operate the battery filling station as per training received.
• Ensure that retail basic tasks are executed efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Participate in meetings and all training as required and listen to feedback to improve your own abilities.

Successful candidates will be able to work a variable schedule, including days, weekends, and holidays.
