Audi Brampton opened in 2017. Our facility is in the Mayfield Auto Mall. We are seeking a motivated team leader to join our existing Parts Department. Key Responsibilities:
As Audi Parts Manager, you will be responsible for leading the parts team, delivering outstanding customer service and parts knowledge. Liaising with the Assistant Parts Manager, you will promote the Dealership and Parts department with the intent of building new sales. You will train and supervise staff. You will be responsible for building relationships with internal, retail and wholesale partners, taking orders over the phone and directly as required. As a hands-on team leader, you will proactively assist customers browsing in the store, and arrange for special delivery needs. You will efficiently find ways to search parts that are not kept within the store and strive to enhance sales by offering excellent customer service and providing information about add-ons. Your commitment to leadership and team success will make you the ideal candidate for this role:
Leadership:
- Recruit, train, coach, mentor and supervise staff.
- Ensure smooth operations of the Parts Department.
- Handle telephone inquiries, providing quotations and receiving orders for retail and wholesale clientele.
- Responsible for business development. Negotiate agreements and manage the wholesale parts business.
- Handle email inquiries direct from our corporate website and direct from our clientele.
- Work with parts management team and external parts wholesale representative to promote the benefits and upsell on OEM Audi parts to new & existing wholesale clientele.
- Parts inventory management, planning and control.
- Store purchasing, budget forecasting.
- Sales tracking and reporting.
- Manage expenses.
- Collaborate with management on parts and accessories marketing promotion plans.
- Provide superior customer service internally and externally.
- Work in partnership with Store Managers and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence. Ensure safety protocols are maintained.
Day-to-day Operations:
With team:
- Prepare detailed invoices and customer statements.
- Required to maintain the inventory and cleanliness of the store.
- Handle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales.
- Maintain customer goodwill.
- Assist with receiving and putting away all incoming morning stock/daily order shipments. Verify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list.
- Assist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly.
- Administer warranty parts returns, including destruction.
- Responsible for core returns, buyback returns, all outgoing credits to the manufacturer.
- General housekeeping of the parts department area including stock room, Boutique areas.
- Parts stock bin checks, reporting discrepancies to the parts manager.
- Parts bin maintenance, including updating supersessions, bin locations and labels.
- Follow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to parts manager.
- Supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting of equipment parts and tools as required from time to time.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
- Ensure accuracy in all transactions, inventory, and procedures.
- Deliver/pick orders as required.

What you bring to the roleThe key skills and qualities of an Audi Parts Manager:
- Post-secondary or college courses or equivalent relevant dealership industry experience.
- 5 plus years of experiences with Audi and VW parts in a supervisory or management role.
- Relevant experiences in a luxury vehicle dealership.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to make excellent sales to achieve performance in alignment with goals and objectives.
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Windows and Outlook, Reynolds.
- Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
