Account Coordinator- 12 Month Contract The UMC team works four days a week from our creative campus located in Liberty Village, Toronto and one day of work virtually. At Universal Music for Brands (UMGB), we leverage the power of Music & Culture to create innovative and differentiated customer propositions for our partners to help them grow their business. We are actively looking for a talented and ambitious Account Coordinator reporting to the VP, Brand Partnerships, UMGB, to join our team. The Account Coordinator is responsible for the support and service of the team and is an entry-level position. They will support the team in delivering the projects they are assigned to from idea execution to budget creation, status meetings and production to end of project analysis and evaluation with input from project owner. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the entire brand partnerships team.
- Provide account support by assisting with the coordination and execution of brand campaigns, strategic marketing partnership deliverables, events and contests.
- Cultivate a good working relationship with clients, either through direct contact or in support of client needs.
- Organize and participate in weekly team and client status meetings and actively participates in brainstorms and ideation, maintaining meticulous notes that are circulated to the team in a timely manner. Respond and deliver client and internal requests in a service oriented manner.
- Have high music and cultural IQ with a keen eye to music and marketing trends.
- Utilize internal data tools to provide key artist activity and social media statistics to the team for presentations and campaign activities.
- Act as the teams air traffic controller, managing all inbound inquiries and keeping track of the teams brand prospects, pitches and meetings.
- Collects and files competitive communication, case studies and samples.
- Responsible for all department accounting and ensures smooth workflow with internal accounting system, client invoicing and payment, and vendor set-up.
- Analyze and track social media campaigns to ensure delivery is within the expected goals, supporting on post-campaign reporting.
- Update and maintain financial records, budgets and reports for each assigned brand.
- Participate in the development of comprehensive client campaigns including idea and content creation and social media strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Background in business, marketing and partnerships required.
- Highly effective skills in project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management to meet deadlines.
- Superb oral and written communication.
- Team player who is results-oriented, proactive and has a strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to operate with speed, flexibility and creativity.
- Display and encourage creativity and innovation and has a passion to explore new ideas and new ways of thinking.
- World class attention to detail across all aspects of the project delivery.
- Deep understanding and immersion in culture - primarily music, sponsorship and media
- Proficient in MS Office and Keynote with an aptitude to easily learn new technologies.
