Website & SEO Specialist - International Candidates Can Apply - Contractor (Remote)(Global) at Care1

We are looking for a website & SEO specialist for a part-time role with a fast-paced technology company. Candidates from Canada or Internationally are welcome to apply.

Care1 is a healthcare technology company that is changing the way eye doctors think about patient care.

We connect eye doctors (ophthalmologists and optometrists) via telemedicine, allowing them to screen, diagnose, and treat patients remotely using cloud-based software. We have delivered care to over 100,000 patients, making the Care1 network one of the largest teleophthalmology networks worldwide. Our in-house software engineering team has also developed the world’s most advanced deep learning artificially intelligent software for medical eye care.

Website Maintenance & Updates

• Add new pages, resources, and content as needed
• Provide ongoing technical troubleshooting and fixes
• Ensure site security, uptime, and performance

SEO & Optimization

• Implement and maintain on-page SEO (meta tags, alt text, structured data, internal linking)
• Conduct keyword research and optimize existing content
• Improve site performance (speed, indexing, mobile optimization)
• Set up analytics dashboards and provide regular performance reports

Marketing Support

• Assist in setting up landing pages, tracking pixels, and lead-gen forms
• Support campaigns with SEO-friendly content updates

Graphic Design & Figma

• Create or adapt visual assets (graphics, icons, banners) for website pages and blog content
• Ensure all visuals align with Care1’s brand standards and usability best practices

• Proven experience managing and updating websites (Webflow)
• Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for troubleshooting
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

• Flexible hours, remote-first
• Occasional overlap with 10am-3pm Pacific Time to receive instructions
• Estimated workload: 10–20 hours/month (may increase with growth)
• Ongoing contract with potential for expanded responsibilities
