The Catholic Independent Schools of the Nelson Diocese (CISND), hosts six elementary schools, and one high school. The diocese is located in the beautiful Okanagan and Kootenay regions of British Columbia. St. Michael's Catholic Elementary School is an independent school with grades K-7 within the city of Trail, British Columbia. We foster a strong foundation of faith and academics and ensure high standards of education and discipline to naturally develop intellectually global citizens. In addition, candidates for the position are required to provide evidence that they have:
  • A Master's degree in school administration or applicable area of study
  • Valid BC teaching certificate or be eligible for BC certification through the Teacher Regulation Branch of the Ministry of Education
